Dear Friends, Our eCard this year highlights the Four Species. These 4 items make up the Etrog & Lulav, which are important ingredients in the celebration of Sukkot in the synagogue and at home. See if you can find the etrog, the palm branches, the Myrtle, and the Willow in the card.
I'd like to update you on our progress to give 100 Cinematheque subscriptions to kids in Sderot. We have enough funds to give 68 subscription. We are still receiving contributions to this effort. Each subscription costs just $45 and provides a year of diversion for a kid. Can you contribute one or more please: Click here to contribute to this project. Not a single Reform or Conservative synagogue in Israel would exist as it does today without your support. Through KBY you can contribute to any Reform, Conservative and unaffiliated progressive congregation in Israel.
Wishing you all the best for a joyous Sukkot, Jeff Macklis, Director KBY Congregations Together ( www.KBYonline.org ) Support Reform and Conservative Congregations in Israel P.S. We have reprinted our Jewish Calendar for 5770-71. If you'd like one or more, please just send me an email. You can also support KBY congregations through:
